Very high quality food, manageable but very well stocked map. There is something for everyone from young to old. It tastes that the meat comes from local butchers who understand their craft (these are also shown on the map). When I read Carpaccio, I first think of raw beef fillet and not of smoked hips, that made me curious and I have to say it tastes sensational. Furthermore, I highly recommend the Pulled Pork with Chilli Cheese Sauce. I only knew Pulled Pork with BBQ sauce, which I like to eat, but the Chilli Cheese sauce is very soft, not too heavy, and the Chilli are only present through the taste and are only minimally noticeable by their sharpness that you can also eat them if you prefer to eat mild - very creamy. In addition there was Röstipommes, which is Röstiteig, which is fried in the form of fries. What I like here, the main courses are not bound to side dishes, the side dishes can be freely chosen for each dish. You get without reordering truffle oil fries, rosemary potatoes, Röstipommes, fried potatoes ...... to choose from. Given the high-quality food, the greeting from the kitchen and the stylish ambience, the cockpit is in my opinion in the category upscale Southern cuisine to see and is not to be confused with an American diner. The team is very friendly and warm in dealing with customers and should it bump a bit in the first few weeks after the opening, I forgive this by the good food. Dear Cockpit Team, You are well on your way and offering something in the region that no one else offers. I wish you much success and we will meet again, that's for sure. P. S. Absolutely brilliant BBQ specialties. I thought I could do it pretty well at home, but that's how you can be fooled. So far, I've been to the Classic BBQ Night twice and it was both really high class. The owners and the staff are super nice. We'll definitely meet again soon.
